Assam Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday announced that the state hits 2,46,590 COVID-19 tests today, which is 11000 plus than the tests conducted on June 17.
The minister in his tweet said, "Today our #COVID19 testing figures hit 246,590, about 11000 plus than June 17. We are pursuing the strategy of active tracing and testing in our bid to contain any further spread of #CoronaVirus. Kudos to our team."

The highest test being conducted at GMCH with 41,568 tests followed by Diphu Medical College and Hospital with 36,926 tests, Jorhat Medical College and Hospital ( 28,961), FAA Medical College and Hospital (27,942) and Silchar Medical College and Hospital (22,747).
