Assam’s Ditimoni wins Gold in National School Games

In the 64th National School Games played at Guwahati, Assam's Ditimoni Sonowal won the Gold medal in her category of weightlifting event.

Ditimoni emerged champion in the girls 59kg category lifting 67kg in snatch and 83kg in clean and jerk in the Bhogeswari Phukanani Indoor Stadium on Wednesday.

In the boys' event, Tridib Boruah (67kg) and Suditya Boruah (73kg) won silver and bronze medals respectively for Assam on the same day.
