Assam’s Father-son attacked in Odisha

In aterrible incident, a father-son duo had been attacked in Odisha's Jeypore. Reportedly,the duo was attacked after dacoits looted all of their belongings whiletravelling in a train.

The son,Kusharam Hazarika (18) died and the father, Dilip Hazarika is criticallyinjured as a result of the assault. Later, Jeypore Rail Police had admitted thefather to the hospital.

It hasbeen reported that the duo are residents of Siyajuli's Dirgha Majgaon.

On theother hand, rail services has been stopped to and fro Odisha, pertaining to thesevere conditions of the Cyclonic storm Fani,which has added to the plight of the family concerned. The temporarilyterminated rail services has been posing as a hindrance in bringing the mortalremains of the son to their hometown.
