Baksa flood: One person swept away by river

One person washed away by the increasing floodwaters of a river at Kaldiya in Baksa district on Friday.

The missing person identified as 55-year-old Kripa Bora, was on his way for a funeral when the tragic incident occurred. Bora was retired personnel of the Indian Army.

The State Disaster Rescue Force (SDRF) launched a search operation to find Bora's body.
