COVID-19 Guwahati: After testing negative, deceased woman test published positive

A deceased female resident of Maligaon in Guwahati who tested negative for coronavirus had a change to positive in the published result of COVID-19 creating a perplexing situation for the family.

The deceased identified as Mina Bharali was suffering from diabetes and kidney-related ailments. She was admitted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

Bharali's swab tests were collected on July 2 in GMCH and she passed away on July 5. The medical authorities initially had informed the family that she was tested negative for COVID-19. Later, the authorities declared her COVID-19 results as positive.
