In view of the spurt in COVID-19 positive cases in neighboring Guwahati, Meghalaya Government has asked the Health department to go for random testing in areas from Byrnihat to Khanapara bordering Assam.
As per reports, the random rapid test, initiated to contain the spread of the contagion in the state, has begun from Saturday.
