Dibrugarh University Student commits suicide

In yet another shocking incident, a Dibrugarh University student was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her hostel room on Tuesday. She was said to be a student of the English Department.

Police were informed immediately after the incidentwas reported and they recovered a suicide note. However, it has not beenverified yet if the note was written by the student herself.

Her friends described her to be a talented Taekwondoplayer. She hailed from Jorhat district.

Meanwhile, police have sent the body for postmortem.
