Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday arrived at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) airport in Guwahati. He will be visiting Dhubri to inaugurate the project BOLD-QIT (Border Electronically Dominated QRT Interception Technique) on India-Bangladesh border.

Upon his arrival in a special flight of the Indian Air Force (IAF), Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal along with various others welcomed him. He will be flying to Dhubri in a special chopper of the IAF.
With an aim to check infiltration on 61km Indo-Bangla vordet in the Dhubri district, Home Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the BOLD-QIT project. The BOLD-QIT project enables BSF to monitor Indo-Bangla borders with different kind of sensors in the unfenced riverine area of Brahmaputra along with its tributaries.
