The 850 bedded COVID Care Center at Nehru Stadium has been prepared to treat the COVID-19 positive patient. The health department is ready to treat 10,000 patients.
Another COVID Care Center with 181 beds has been prepared at Sankardeva Kalashetra.
It may be mentioned that the number of cases of COVID-19 is increasing at an alarming rate and Guwahati being the vulnerable city, the state government has increased the COVID Care Center to treat the patients.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 cases have climbed to 29921 with 8081 active cases.
Moreover, 21761 patients have recovered from the disease and 76 people succumbed to the deadly virus.
