The Guwahati City Chapter in association with North East Branch of Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists have jointly organized "VITILIGO WALK" on the occasion of "WORLD VITILIGO DAY" on June 25.
The walk will be started at 6.30 am from ESIC MODEL HOSPITAL, Beltola. The theme of this initiative is 'QUALITY OF LIFE OF A VITILIGO PATIENT.
The organizers' body has invited city people to actively participate in the "VITILIGO WALK".
Vitiligo is a disease in which the pigment cells of the skin, melanocytes, are destroyed in certain areas. Symptoms and signs of vitiligo include loss of skin color in the form of depigmented, or white, patches of skin in any location on the body.
