Mizoram reported 33 new cases of COVID-19 including 29 security personnel, taking the state's tally to 537, informed State Directorate of Information and Public Relations.
With the new cases, the active cases in the state went up to 251.
Of the 33 cases, 28 have been reported from Aizawl district, 2 from Champhai district while 1 each case has been reported from Lunglei, Kolasib and Saitual districts.
However, 286 patients have recovered from the disease in the state.
