CoA likely to ask ICC to ban Pak from 2019 WC

After the attack carried on the CRPF jawans in Kashmir, India has been fuming over Pakistan. As retaliation, a supreme court-appointed Committee of Administrators (COA) has drafted a letter asking International Cricket Council (ICC) to ban Pakistan from participating in the 2019 50-over World Cup.

According to reports, the letter addressed to ICC Chairman Shashank Manohar, which has been drafted by the office of BCCI CEO Rahul Johri after the approval from COA chairman Vinod Rai, states that if Pakistan is not banned from the global tournament, India will consider withdrawing themselves from the tournament.

Sources shared the content of the letter reads, "In the light of the recent terrorist attack in Kashmir, the Board is of the view that the ICC should ban Pakistan from participating".

The CoA has decided to meet on Friday to discuss the fate of India-Pakistan match in the 2019 WC.
