Over 40 killed, 100 injured in Kabul blast

Morethan 40 people were killed and 100 other sustained injuries in an explosion in Kabulcity in Afghanistan on Saturday night. According to reports, the explosion tookplace at around 10:40 pm.

Thesuicide bomber targeted a wedding which was packed with guests.

BilalSarwary, an Afghan journalist tweeted, "It was a suicide attack. The attackerdetonated his explosives in the wedding hall for men. There are casualties andfatalities in big numbers.", multiple guests at the wedding that was attackedtonight in Kabul's PD6  tells me."

Theinjured were rushed to nearby hospitals immediately after the incident.

However,no groups have taken the responsibility of the attack so far.
