A six-year-old boy from Karimnagar in Telangana is leaving people amazed with his rare and creative talent - turning Rubik’s cubes into detailed portraits.
Young Vidhat, son of Sujatha and Nithin Reddy, has caught attention for his ability to arrange dozens of Rubik’s cubes into stunningly accurate images, a skill that even seasoned artists find difficult. What sets him apart isn’t just solving the classic 3x3 puzzle, but using those solutions to form complex artworks.
At just six, Vidhat recently crafted a portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in only 20 minutes using 99 Rubik’s cubes. The result was so accurate and lifelike, it’s hard to believe it came from such a young hand.
His journey began at age three, when he first got introduced to the Rubik’s cube. With consistent practice and online lessons, he didn’t just learn to solve the cube - he taught himself how to use it as a tool for pixel-style art. His early creations included portraits of his parents and himself, all made from memory and photos.
Seeing his rapid progress, his parents arranged for more structured online training. They now plan to send him for advanced coaching in Hyderabad to further develop his talent. “We’re amazed every time he completes a portrait,” they said.
“He’s recreated faces like Modi and Pawan Kalyan with only cubes. We want to help him chase his dream of breaking a world record.”
Vidhat has already participated in events like the Telangana Cube Championship 2024 and DC Open July Hyderabad 2024, where he competed in solving 2x2x2 and 3x3x3 cubes — often against much older participants.
