News anchor shot dead outside cafe

APakistani news anchor was shot dead in Karachi over a personal dispute. The TVanchor, Mureed Abbas and his friend were gunned down on Tuesday night.

Abbaswas working at the private TV channel Bol News. He was shot by his businesspartner Atif Zaman outside a local cafe in Khayaban-e-Bukhari area in the city. Later Zaman triedto commit suicide by shooting himself, informed police.

Asper the reports, Zaman had to pay back a debt to Abbas. Earlier, Zaman hadthreatened Abbas with dire consequences.
