The world dreaded terrorist Al Baghdadi could be killed due to the underwear he used.

Al Baghdadihad never used any electronics for decades and for that it was hugely difficultto locate him over the years. The Syrian Kurds located him but to establish hiscomplete identity, an undercover agent of Syrian Kurd managed to steal underwearused by Baghdadi.

Theunderwear went to US military laboratory where DNA was matched and when theresult was 100% the mission was launched to kill or capture him.

AKurdish official announced this. Polat Can, a senior adviser to the Kurdish-ledSyrian Democratic Forces (SDF), published details of the intelligence work thatled to the US raid in which the founder of ISIS was killed.

"Since15 May, we have been working together with the CIA to track al-Baghdadi andmonitor him closely," he said.

"Al-Baghdadichanged his places of residence very often," Polat Can said, adding thatthe asset managed to reach the house where the ISIS chief was believed to behiding.

"Ourown source, who had been able to reach al-Baghdadi, brought al-Baghdadi'sunderwear to conduct a DNA test and make sure (100%) that the person inquestion was al-Baghdadi himself," the adviser wrote on Twitter.
