COVID-19 : Rajasthan Groom’s Family to pay for infected people’s treatment

A wedding proved inordinately costly for the groom's family after many people attending the wedding in Rajasthan's Bhilwara tested positive for the virus, and of them even died.

As per reports, the family has been imposed a penalty of Rupees 6 lakh for violating safety protocols supposed to be taken against the pandemic. Besides, it also has to pay for the treatment of the 15 infected people, the quarantine of 58 more guests, their food, the services at an isolation ward, swab tests and the use of ambulance by the infected people.
