‘Bulbul Can Sing’ out of IFFI, Utpal-Manju Make The cut

Award-winning filmmaker Rima Das' Assamese film 'Bulbul Can Sing' – which bagged National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Assamese, couldn't make the cut in 50th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2019.

Utpal Dutta's 'Bohubritta' (Assamese), Manju Bora's 'In The Land of Poison Women' (Pangchenpa) and Pradip Kurbah's 'Iewduh' (Khasi ) have been selected for screening at the 50th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2019 to be held from November 20-28 in Goa.

Utpal Dutta and Manju Bora played smart with language and genre to be included in panorama.

The 50th International Film Festival of India, 2019 will witness over 200 best films  from 76 countries, 26 feature films and 15 non feature films in Indian panorama section and around 10,000 people and film lovers are expected to participate in the golden jubilee edition.

Indian Panorama is a flagship section of IFFI, which showcases the best of contemporary Indian Feature and Non-Feature Films of the years.
