Coal syndicate: 2 trucks seized in Jagun

Amid the war of words between Congress MP PradyutBordoloi and Assam BJP spokespersons regarding the ongoing coal syndicate in theState, the Jagun Forest Department has seized two illegal coal-laden trucksfrom Tinkupathar area on Friday.

According to reports, the Jagun Forest Departmentalong with the local police launched a search operation to seize both thetrucks with the numbers: PB-05-AK-5188 and AS-01-FC-2126. Officials of the policedetained the drivers of the trucks and forest officials seized someincriminating documents from their possession.

It may be mentioned here that Congress MP Bordoloihas been vocal against the illegal coal syndicate that is running in the State.He had also alleged that Chief Minister Sonowal was also involved in thesyndicate.
