Dokmoka mob attack: Police arrests prime accused ‘Alpha’

In a major breakthrough in the Dokmoka mob attack incident, police has been successful in arresting Alphajoz Timung who is also known as Alpha.

The prime accused Alphajoz Timung has been arrested after an intense search mission undertaken by the Karbi Anglong police.

Reportedly, it was Timung who had instigated the villagers to attack Nilotpal – Abhijeet, terming them as child abductors. He was even accused of calling people over phone from various places to attack the two innocent souls.

Timung had been arrested from a remote hideout.

As per reports, in connection to the incident 27 have been arrested till now and at the same time, 25 have been arrested in connection to circulating videos or hate messages over social media.
