Fire In Delhi Halts Metro Services

A furniture godown in Kalindi Kunj metro station in New Delhi went up in blaze in the wee hours of Friday. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

In total 15 fire engines rushed to the spot to douse the massive blaze.

Till the filing of this report, no casualty has been reported.

Meanwhile, metro train services on the Magneta Line were halted temporarily after the fire broke out.

"Train movement has been stopped temporarily between Jasola Vihar Saheen Bagh and Kalindi Kunj due to smoke and fire," said a Delhi Metro statement.
