Guwahati blast victim shifted to AIIMS, New Delhi

Amit Khersa (40), oneof the victims of Guwahati grenade blast has been shifted to All IndiaInstitute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in New Delhi for further treatment onWednesday.

As per reports, Amit had suffered severe injuries on eye, stomach and leg. He was admitted in Nemcare Hospital in Guwahati following the blast. Amit along with his family member flew to New Delhi this afternoon.

Meanwhile, the Assam police on Tuesday arrested the prime accused of the grenade blast incident- Bijoy Asom from Doomdooma in Tinsukia district.
