In a sensational incident in Guwahati, body of a man recovered from Khanapara area in the city. The slain has been identified as Kamruddin Ali. Police found the marks of a sharp weapon, having been used, on his body.

"Kamruddin was working at a motor garage in Khanapara area. On Thursday morning, passers-by spotted the body near Niribili Path and informed us about the same. We immediately rushed to the spot," said a police official.

They informed that the investigation is on and likely to arrest the culprit(s) behind the incident soon. Meanwhile, the body has been sent for an autopsy.
