Missing IAF AN-32 wreckage found

After nine days of search operations, the Indian Air Force found the lost AN-32 near the Gatte Village in the Siang district, both the Deputy Commissioner, as well as IAF, officially confirmed it.

The location where the wreckage, believed to be of the AN-32 was found is 15-20 kilometres north of the flight path of the AN-32 aircraft in Arunachal Pradesh.

The Deputy commissioner Shri Yomi informed that the wreckage of plane found near Gatte village under Payum circle Siang district.

The Indian Air Force have also confirmed the event in their twitter handle as reinforcement have been sent through the Mi-17 Helicopter to the spot to retreive the bodies and the wreckage.
