NEUFC jumps to No. 1 in ISL ranking

NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) got the better of Hyderabad FC 1-0 in an ISL match at the GMC Balayogi Stadium on Wednesday to go top of the points table.

Maximiliano Barreiro came on in the second half and scored a penalty under immense pressure to help NorthEast United FC beat Hyderabad FC at home.

Theteams had their fair share of moments in a closely-contested tie, but ahandball in the 86th minute helped NorthEast United edge past their opponents.Robert Jarni's team remain unbeaten and have eight points from four games,while Hyderabad sit ninth on the table with three points.
