A person lost his life today when the scooty he was riding was hit by a tractor on the Kampur-Baithalangso connecting road.

The deceased, identified as Nakul Barman of Saraihagi, died on the spot as a result of the head-on collision.

Although the tractor driver tried to fled the spot along with his tractor, the locals chased the vehicle down, and seized the tractor.
