Tezpur: Father suspected for son’s alleged murder

In ashocking incident, a father allegedly killed his son in Tezpur. The incident cameto light on Friday after the body of the boy was recovered from a pit neartheir house. The boy was missing since 7 days.

The deceased has been identified as Dhrubajyoti Nath.

According to locals, Ramani Nath, the father of Dhrubajyoti, allegedly had an illegitimate affair and his son had been continuously opposing his relation. Following which, Ramani killed his son and buried in a pit near Dhulaguri pathar. The angry locals attacked Ramani Nath' residence after the body of Dhrubajyoti was recovered.

Meanwhile, police registering a case, has initiated an investigation regarding the incident.
