Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau seeks data on Rakibul Hussain’s assets

Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau has sent a letter to the Revenue Department seeking data on assets owned by former minister Rakibul Hussain and members of his family.

Through the letter, the Bureau has asked the Revenue Department to direct the deputy commissioners to review assets owned by Hussain in various parts of the state.

The Bureau had sent the letter on April 11. Rakibul Hussain, wife Nazneen Hussain, son Tanjil Roshan are among the other family members in the review list.

Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau has taken in Hussain's Personal Security Officer (PSO) Ashwini Das for interrogation. The investigation will depend on Das' statements during the interrogation.
