COVID-19: India’s Recovery Rate Gets Better, Reaches Almost 70%

In a relief amidst the alarming scenario triggered by COVID-19, India's recovery rate from COVID-19 has reached almost 70%. To be precise, the recovery rate, as per the Health Ministry, stood at 69.8%.


Furthermore, as per government data, single-day fresh cases of COVID-19 have dropped below 55,000 today after remaining more than 60,000 for four days in a row. The case fatality is also reported to have dropped below 2%. It has now reduced to 1.99%.


The Health Ministry further informed that the total number of active cases in the country stood at 6,39,929. It also added that 15 lakh 83 thousand 4 hundred 89 people have recovered so far from the contagion.
Death toll in the country due to COVID-19 has reached 45,257, the Ministry informed.
