Pratidin Bureau

Days after cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir skipped a key meeting of a parliamentary committee on Delhi's air crisis, missing posters of the East Delhi MP appeared in several locations of the national capital, especially in ITO area on Sunday.

"Haveyou seen him? He was spotted last having jalebis at the Indore cricketstadium. The entire Delhi is looking for him," the poster read.

Gambhir was in Indore as a commentator for the India-Bangladesh cricket fixture and gave the crucial high-profile meeting organised to address the alarming levels of pollution in Delhi. Later, a photo shared by former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman showed him having jalebis with Gambhir.

"Instead of sitting in commentary box and enjoying, we challenge Gautam Gambhir to stop playing blame games over pollution and attend meetings on air pollution which he skipped," AAP tweeted.
