India clinches four nation Under-16 football tournament in Serbia

The Indian colts thrashed Tajikistan 4-2 to emerge as champions of the four-nation Under-16 Tournament held in Serbia on Sunday.

India's impressive run in the tournament continued in the final too as the Champion team netted 3 goals within the first 10 minutes of the match against Tajikistan.

The Indian Under-16 team held the hosts Serbia 0-0 in the opening match. They followed it up with an impressive win over Jordan by 2-1 goals before beating Tajikistan in the final.

India accumulated seven points out of the maximum nine by putting up an impressive show to finish their campaign unbeaten in three matches.
