Assam records 7039 active COVID-19 cases

Assam as of date has recorded positive cases 20646 and the active cases reported on Thursday are 892.

The cumulative active cases have climbed to 7039. Out of these, 598 patients are from Kamrup (Metro), which include 184 from Guwahati Jail, said Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma.

He also said, 666 patients were discharged on Thursday in Assam.

The state has discharged 13,5554  recovered patients so far.

So far, 50 victims have succumbed to the deadly virus.
