Former Infosys CEO boards BMW Group

BMW- a GermanMultinational Company which produces automobiles and motorcycles, in its recentmeeting in Munich, Germany on Thursday, May 16 elects Vishal Sikka to the boardof BMW Group and extends his term to 2023.

The formerInfosys CEO Vishal Sikka left the company on August 18, 2012 after someconflict with the company's co-founders. Sikka had been working on an AIstartup since his departure from Infosys. Previously before joining Infosys, hewas a board member of the business software maker SAP.

Dr. Sikka whois an AI PhD alumnus from Standford, is also looking forward to serve as anadvisor to Standford University's HAI.
