The grand finale, hosted at the HYATT Pune on June 29, 2025, brought together accomplished women from across the country in a celebration of transformation and self-confidence.

The national-level pageant, conceptualized by Anjana Mascarenhas and Karl Mascarenhas of Diva Pageants, showcased women who embody grace, ambition, and reinvention. Komal’s victory stood out as a testament to self-discovery and the strength it takes to step into the spotlight after years of staying behind the scenes.

“This was a moment of choosing myself – and showing up, crown and all,” Komal shared after the win. “Was I nervous? Absolutely,” she added. “But I was also ready. I had done the work. And it was time to live the moment.”

An architect by education, a brand head by profession, a dancer by passion, and an animal welfare advocate by heart, Komal Komal Vaidya is the embodiment of today’s multifaceted woman. With years of experience in interior design, she brings together a unique mix of structure and creativity. She currently heads a home décor e-commerce brand. She is also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer, a passion she channeled into a mesmerizing performance during the talent round, which drew from India’s deep-rooted hospitality traditions, blending poise and cultural pride on stage.

What makes her story even more inspiring is her commitment to causes close to her heart, animal welfare and women’s empowerment, which she aims to champion on a global platform as she now prepares to represent India internationally.

Her journey, she says, would not have been possible without the unwavering support of her family, especially her husband, Rishi Raj Barpujari, a native of Assam. Reflecting on her achievement, Barpujari said, “I always knew you had it in you.” Komal also credited her mentors Anjana Ma’am and Karl Sir for their encouragement and belief.

As she next prepares to represent India on the international stage, Komal remains grounded in purpose. She is passionate about animal welfare and women’s empowerment – causes she plans to champion globally. She said, “For me, this crown isn’t just an accessory,” Komal emphasized. “It’s a symbol of every part of my journey – and every woman who’s still writing hers.”

With elegance, empathy, and a sense of purpose, Komal Vaidya is more than justa  titleholder— she is an inspiring chapter in the larger story of women redefining themselves at every stage of life.
