Barack and Michelle Obama to produce films, series for Netflix

Former President of the United States Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama have signed a multi-year deal to produce films and series for Netflix.

The Obamas have the option to produce scripted and unscripted series, feature films and documentaries, said Netflix in a statement. The duo shall be producing the same under the banner of 'Higher Ground Productions'.

It may be mentioned here that the deal between Netflix and the Obamas is a first for any occupant of the White House.
