The sequelof 2012's super-hit 'Student of the Year', the 'Student of the Year 2' or 'SOTY2' witnessed limited growth at the box office till now. As per trade analysts,the Phase 6 of Lok Sabha Elections in Delhi and Haryana and the IPL final have resultedin slow business of the Tiger Shroff starrer movie till Sunday.
Several cinema halls in Delhi and Haryana remained closed till evening on Sunday resulting in decline of SOTY 2's collection, informed film critic Taran Adarsh. The film so far managed to earn Rs. 38.38 crore at the box office.
