Asaduddin Owaisi, the Chief of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), has hit out at Bollywood star Akshay Kumar over the actor's interview of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While addressing a speech at Mumbai's Bhiwandi, Owaisi mocked the interview, the interviewer, the interviewee as well as the interview questions. Taking a dig, Owaisi said Modi brought in an actor to interview him at his residence after television anchors failed to meet his expectations.
Addressing a public gathering in Malegaon, Owaisi said, "The Prime Minister realised that TV anchors weren't good enough actors and wouldn't be able to endorse him like a professional actor."
It seemed like Modi was the better actor of the two. His skill seems to have impressed the interviewer!" said Owaisi.
"Reacting to the interview, Randeep Surjewala said,"It seems a failed politician who is about to be rejected on May 23, 2019, is looking for an alternative employment avenue in Bollywood, but I don't think so, a failed politician like Modi ji will be a successful actor in Bollywood. Akshay Kumar will remain Akshay Kumar," Surjewala continued.
