In a shocking incident, the body of a person was found by passersby at the parking lot of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Monday.
According to reports, the deceased seemed to have passed away in his sleep as the body was found covered in a blanket in a natural position.
The identity of the deceased or the cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
The body has been recovred by the police and a case has been registered.
