Heavy incessant rains leads to artificial flood in Numaligarh

The continuous rains have led to occurrence of artificialfloods in various parts of the state. In one such incident, water have beenflowing incessantly from the Numaligarh tea garden flooding the residentialareas nearby.

According to reports, the plight of the local residents has started from 2:00 am on Tuesday, where the people had to face troubles with water all around them.

It may be noted that the water is now flowing over theNational Highway 37 risking the Upper -Lower Assam communication.Heavy rains are still continuing in the areawith heavy flow of water being witnessed on the Highway.
