16 Organizations Stage Protest at Diphu

16 organizations including the Hills State Demand Council (HSDC), Karbi Students' Association (KSA), Karbi Nimso Chingthur Asong (KNCA) have staged a protest on Wednesday at Diphu demanding CBI inquiry into the corruption of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council.

Theorganizations alleged that there has been a massive corruption since the Congress-ledgovernment under the leadership of Tuliram Ronghang.

The organizations have also submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister seeking a CBI inquiry.
