In a latest development, 23 health workers have tested positive for COVID-19 at Tezpur Medical College and Hospital (TMCH). Swab samples of 26 health workers have been tested out of which 23 comes out positive.
It may be mentioned that a doctor of TMCH also tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday along with a ward boy.
The number of positive cases in the hospital has risen to 30.
Meanwhile, Assam registered 6370 positive cases of COVID-19 with 2400 active cases.
