6 houses gutted in Tezpur fire

A devastating fire brokeout at Dulabari area in Tezpur on Wednesday evening. According to reports, asmany as six houses were burnt down by the fire.

The fire broke from anearthen lamp of one Islam Ahmed's house. Reportedly, property worth severallakhs charred to ashes due to the fire.

Later, the fire tenders reachedthe scene and controlled the fire with the help of locals.
