7 die after alleged consumption of country liquor in Barpathar

In a shocking incident at Kalibari in Barpathar, seven people have lost their lives after allegedly consuming country liquor.

The sickness symptoms of the individuals were similar. Locals have accused that the seven people, which include women, have died after consuming country liquor at a particular shop at Kalibari.

Acting on the accusation of the public, two illicit liquor sellers – Narayan Koch and Pintu Pal – have been arrested by the Police. Huge quantity of country liquor has also been recovered from their store.
