The Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF) President and Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) chief Hagrama Mohilary on Thursday welcomed Union Cabinet's decisions that approved the establishment of a Bodo Museum-cum-language and cultural study centre, modernisation of the existing All India Radio station and Doordarshan Kendra at Kokrajhar and naming a superfast train passing through Bodoland Territorial Autonomous District (BTAD) as ARONAI Express meaning 'lifeline'.

Hagrama Mohilary, while speaking to media in New Delhi dismissed the demand for a separate Bodoland and said, "Unlike Telengana and Uttarakhand, Bodoland does not have industries to fulfill the criteria of a separate State." He also said that there is hardly any Indian Administrative Service (IAS) or Assam Civil Service (ACS) officers in Bodoland.

Terming the protest for separate Bodoland as a drama, Hagrama said, "The demand for separate Bodoland by ABSU is nothing but a drama," adding, "Modi Government has no policy yet for a separate Bodoland."
