AJYCP Demands to Scrap CAA and EIA

The Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) has staged a protest at Narengi demanding to scrap the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and draft Environment Impact Assessment (EIA).

The AJYCP has organized 'Manab Shrinkhal' programme on Monday expressing anger against both the state and central governments.

The students' union also demanded to withdraw all the decisions which will destroy the dignity of the indigenous people of the state. They also demanded to release KMSS chief Akhil Gogoi immediately and also the other leaders arrested during the anti-CAA protests.
