AJYCP leader detained

BokakhatAJYCP Secretary has been detained by the police on Thursday night. The AJYCPleader was identified as Ananta Gogoi.

His detentioncame ahead of the 'Sankalp Samaroh' of the BJP in Bokakhat. According toreports, a team of Bokakhat police detained Gogoi from his residence at Kaziranga.

Localssaid that the leader was vocal against the contentious Citizenship AmendmentAct (CAA).
