APSC scam: President seeks SC’s advice on Rakesh Paul’s removal

TheSupreme Court has agreed to hear on the matter of Assam Public ServiceCommission (APSC) on Wednesday.

Accordingto reports, Governor of Assam had sent a letter to the President seekingpermission for the removal of Rakesh Paul from the chairmanship of the APSC.Pertaining to the matter, the President has sought the advice of the SupremeCourt.

A threemember bench headed by the Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi will hear thematter tomorrow.
