Artificial flood hits Silchar

Incessant rain since the last three days has led to artificial flood in Silchar town. Communication has been affected in Shillong Patty, Ambikapatty, Bilpar and Link Road among other locations.

Offices and schools have been affected too along with water inundating hundred of residences.

Communication between Lumding and Silchar has also been disrupted.

Reports of landslides have also been received from numerous areas.
