The Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister called for an all-party meeting on Sunday evening in the wake of rising violence in Itanagar. According to sources, CM Khandu will chair a cabinet meeting after the all-party meeting and will likely to take any decision on dissolving the assembly.

Meanwhile, CM Khandu said that the government will not take any further action in respect of grant of PRC to non-APST.

"Considering the present situation in respect of the matter pertaining to grant of PRC to non APST residents of Namsai and Chaglang districts, the State Government has decided that no further action shall be taken in respect of grant of PRC, "read a government statement.

Earlier, citing complete breakdown of law and order in the state, a Congress delegation met the governor on Saturday evening asking him to dissolve the government and announce President's Rule in the State.
