Assam: 2 More Succumb to COVID-19, Toll at 88

Two more persons succumbed to COVID-19 on Tuesday who were admitted at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), informed state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma through his twitter handle.

The deceased has been identified as Dulu Rani Sarkar (70) and Hemanta Buragohain (50). Both the persons were from Kamrup Metro.

Two more #COVID19 patients, Smt Dulu Rani Sarkar (70) and Sri Hemanta Buragohain (50), have succumbed to their infections today. They both were from Kamrup Metro and admitted at GMCH, Guwahati.

The two new deaths reported today have taken the toll to 88 in the state.

However, 33576 persons have been infected with the virus while 8085 are active cases.
